Fiber and society

We have been consuming more and more data in the past decades.

More data means new technologies and Fiber is the most future-proof one available. Say bye-bye to ADSL and Cable!

Fiber makes life better, for everyone.

Everything is becoming more and more connected. Booking tickets, buying food and goods, managing your home, and contacting authorities. Today it is difficult to manage without a good internet connection. Make sure your home is properly connected to a future-proof fiber infrastructure.

Healthcare and educational services are increasingly delivered remotely.

Meeting your doctor via the Internet was science fiction just a few years ago, now millions of health care visits are being made online. School students do their schoolwork online and every fourth student is studying remotely online. Make sure you are properly connected to today’s and the future’s digital society.

Increase the value of your property

If you sell your house, most buyers will want it to have access to high-speed Internet. Ensure the future value of your property with a future-proof Fiber connection.

Compare

Compare the speed, stability and availability of Fiber with other options.

  • Extremely Fast

Up to 10,000 Mbit/s, limitless streaming of movies and music. Upload and download large files in seconds.

  • Very Stable

Very little downtime. Is not sensitive to distances and is not affected by the number of users online at the same time.

  • Available and Future-Proof

It takes a little bit of time to bring to you since it is infrastructure. Gives extremely high speeds, stable connectivity, and fits smart homes, streaming, gaming, and home businesses.

ADSL transfers data via phone lines. It is an older technology that is disappearing.

  • Slow

Up to 60 Mbit/s in unusual cases but usually less than 10 Mbit/s. Can work for regular level of music streaming and some movie streaming. When several people are connected at the same time performance can suffer.

  • Very Unstable

Sensitive to distances; the speed drops quickly the longer the distance is from the telecommunication station. Sensitive cables that often experience problems and require more frequent repairs.

  • Very High Availability

You can usually get it immediately if you have a regular phone line installed to your house. It might not be available in the future when the old networks are closed and upgraded.

Cable transfers data via cable-tv network and is the most common technology for high/speed connectivity.

  • Average Speed

From 200 Mbit/s up to 1000 Mbit/s Upp till 500 Mbit/s, works well when streaming music and movies as well as downloading large files. If you are a gamer you will experience higher latency compared with Fiber. Upload speeds are usually only 10% of the download speeds.

  • Decent Stability

Pretty stable, but speed is affected by distance. Sensitive cables that can experience problems and require more frequent repairs.

  • High Availability

Is available in most homes and some offices but is not a good investment for the future.

4G transfers data via radio signals on cellphone towers and you will usually pay for a certain amount of data per month.

  • Decent speed, but...

Streaming a movie with high-quality HD will quickly spend your monthly data allowance.

  • Not always stable

Varying depending on how congested the mobile network is or how far away the tower is. If you live near the train or a major road, quality and accessibility may vary depending on the traffic.

  • Available

Easy to order but coverage can vary significantly, and streaming media will quickly deplete mobile data allowances.

5G transfers data via radio signals on cellphone towers or smaller sites, but will not be widely available for a few years.

  • Very Fast

Theoretical speeds up to 10-20 Gbit/s.

  • Unstable

Significant variation in coverage and performance. Will not penetrate regular walls.

  • Available Soon

Is only available in a few places at the moment, and very few of these are offering ”true” 5G. The theoretical speed of 5G can match that of fiber, but it is still far from being a widely tested and dependable technology. Will probably not be built outside of metropolitan areas.

Careful installation

Everything starts with your interest. Then we take care of paperwork, digging, and technology. Then you play.

01 Register for fiber

Search to see if your adress is eligible for fiber and order digitally. Once you are registered we will get in contact to tell you all necessary details on how we get fiber to your home.

02 Plan & Dig

When the permit requirements are clear we do the detailed design. Once that is in place we bring the cable to your area, and finally we dig by hand to bring the cable to your property.

03 Install & Play

Our operations center connects your Fiber connection to the internet and activates the services you need. Only when everything is ready will you start paying for the services.

Testimonials

Some kind words about the work we do.

So far it's been great

So far it's been great. Install occurred within about 2 months, though we had understood it would be six months. Service is getting 800+ mbps on speed tests

Very well done fiber excavation

Very well done fiber excavation and installation, everything has exceeded expectations and after the excavation done outside the site and the fiber blowing a few days later, it did not take many days before everything was up and rolling. Now it remains to be seen whether the continuous delivery is as good and unstable.

Professionally done work

Professionally done work. Friendly staff. Good information.
